Bank Manager Dies of suspected H1N1 Infection
Mangaluru: The Mulki Bank Manager died after he was unable to respond to the medical treatment for fever at a private hospital in the city, here on February 11.
The deceased Laxminarayan was working as a manager of Bharat Bank in Hejamadi Udupi.
According to sources, Laxminarayan was suffering from fever and was taking medicines from local hospitals. But when there was no effect with the medicines, Laxminarayan was admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru. Unable to respond to medication he breathed his last on February 11.
It is suspected that Laxminarayan was suffering from H1N1. Blood samples of Laxminarayan have been sent to the lab for testing, said hospital sources.
