Bannanje Raja gets one-day parole to meet his ill-health mother
Udupi: Gangster Bannanje Raja who was in jail was granted a days parole to meet his mother who is suffering health problems.
Bannanje Raja who is lodged in the Belagavi jail had applied for parole and is expected to reach Udupi on July 8 with tight security.
Bannanje Raja, who is facing 44 cases, is now in Belagavi jail. Bannanje Raja, a native of Udupi, was extradited from Morocco in 2015 in connection with 16 cases.
After extradition, he was brought to Udupi under tight security on August 15, 2015. Of the 16 cases for which he was extradited, four cases are in Udupi, including two cases in the Udupi Town Police Station, one case each in Manipal and Malpe police stations.
