Banner on Pumpwell Flyover ‘Veer Savarkar Melsethuve Pumpwell’ Disappears after Photo goes Viral on Social Media

Mangaluru: After the Congress and JD(S) opposed the move of the Karnataka government to name a flyover in Bengaluru city after Veer Savarkar, there was a banner installed on the Pumpwell flyover to name it as the “Veer Savarkar Melsethuve Pumpwell” on June 2.

Unknown persons had installed a banner on the Pumpwell flyover mentioning “Veer Savarkar Melsethuve Pumpwell” in Kannada and also mentioned Bajrang Dal thrice.

When the photograph of the banner on the flyover went viral on the social media, the banner disappeared from the spot.

It is still a mystery as to who had placed the banner on the flyover barrier and also who had removed it? But ‘Bajrang Dal’ written on the barrier is still present.

If the police want they can find out in a jiffy, but they will not enter in the controversy
