Bar & Restaurant Owner Dies in Fire Mishap, Wife Serious in Udupi
Udupi: In a tragic incident, the owner of Shetty Bar & Restaurant died leaving his wife critical after their house was gutted in fire at Ambalapadi here, on July 15 morning.
The deceased has been identified as Ramananda Shetty (52), the owner of Shetty Bar & Restaurant in Ambalapadi. His wife Ashwini is admitted to Manipal Hospital with severe burns injuries.
According to primary reports, Ramananda’s family members were at home when the AC exploded causing a fire.
The fire service personnel and police rushed to the spot and rescued the children in the house.
