BD and VHP Demand Ban of made in China Goods, Burn Chinese products including Mobile Phones

Mangaluru: The Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad jointly staged a protest against the made in China products and urged people to stop buying Chinese products, at Kadri Grounds here on September 1.

Addressing the protesters VHP leader Prof M B Puranik said, “We should know that by sending cheap products to India, China is strengthening their economy. We should not trust China because it has joined hands with Pakistan to attack India. We are buying Chinese goods and making them rich but they are using our own money to attack us. If we stop buying their products, China will automatically be weakened economically. Today we all should take an oath to ban all Chinese products including TV, mobiles or any other electronic gadgets which we have in our homes, let us all burn those Chinese products and buy Indian made items to strengthen our economy.”

Addressing the protesters District President of Bajrang Dal Sharan Pumpwell said, “During Diwali, we used to buy Chinese made cheap crackers which lead to the decrease of the sale of Indian made crackers. In India, if any product costs Rs 100, we need to sell it for Rs 120 to get a profit, but China is selling the same product in India for Rs 50. China is indirectly weakening our economy by selling cheaper made in China products”

Sharan further said, “After the Communist party came to power in China, China has been trying to destroy our country. China is supporting terrorism by supporting our enemy nation Pakistan and we all should oppose it. In India, we use kumkum, bangles, toys, mobiles, Televisions and other electronic items that are produced in China. Until now we have not thought that one day China will use our money and attack us. Now the time has come to say no to Chinese products. I have Appo mobile with me and today I will burn it. If we stop buying made in China products China will surely lose its market and stop troubling us. Let us all pledge to buy Indian made products.”

Renuka a teenager said, “Most of the people do not know what products we have in our own country. We are very much aware of all the Chinese goods and we are happily buying them because they are cheap. We are indirectly helping China to economically grow strong and destroying the economy of our own country. Our youth should think of the development of our country and stop buying products made in China. Today let us take an oath to say “No” to Chinese products.”

VHP leader Jagadish Shenava, Bhujang Kulal and others were also present. Later all made in China products including mobile phones were burnt by the protesters.
