Bearys Cultural Forum holds ‘Dubai Iftar Meet 2017’
UAE: The grand Bearys Cultural Forum (BCF) “Dubai Iftar Meet 2017” was held at The Iranian Club Auditorium, Dubai. On 9 June 2017. LargeA large number of people from around the UAE, mostly Kannadiga NRIs and Bearys attended the Iftar party including brothers and sisters from the Hindu and Christian communities.
After Iftar, an introductory programme of “BCF Scholarship Meet-2017” was held.
Dr B K Yusuf, President of BCF presided over the function. Dr Kaup Mohamed, Secretary, BCF, welcomed the gathering. Latif Mulky, Chairman of the Iftar Committee, thanked BCF managing committee and Iftar committee members for their relentless support to carry out the Iftar Meet 2017 successfully.
M E Moolur, Vice President of BCF gave a brief introduction of BCF and BCF Scholarship Programmes. As Allah listens to the prayers of a fasting person, he said it is high time to do good deeds and hence as the Chairman of BCF Scholarship program, appealed to the gathering to maximize their Support to the same.
Abdul Latif Mulky, Vice President, BCF and Chairman of BCF Iftar Committee thanked all the people at the gathering for attending the BCF Iftar programme in big numbers. He expressed his pleasure for being given the responsibility as the Chairman of this noble task and thanked BCF for the same. He thanked everyone who supported him to make the programme a successful one. Abdul Latif Mulky also conveyed his thanks to all the members of various associations of Karnataka State who have been kind enough to accept this invitation and attend the BCF Iftar Meet 2017. He said it is a support for the cause of developing the poor people of Karnataka State.
Dr B K Yusuf, President of BCF wished everyone with the best wishes of Holy Ramadan. Quoting the verses from the Holy Quran he elaborated about the command of Allah to make use of Ramadan to gain eternal success. He emphasized on the need to support the poor and needy. He thanked all for being kind enough to Support BCF in all its charitable activities since many years.
Dr Kaup Mohamed appealed to the gathering to be a part and parcel of this great social service by donating generously to this noble cause of providing education to the poor students. He also said that all the people should provide support to BCF for educational cause and also to support in providing free wheelchairs and sewing machine to the needy people of Karnataka state. Dr Kaup thanked all patrons, supporters and committee members of BCF for their continued support. Dr Kaup also mentioned that Bearys Cultural Forum since the past 16 years has been serving the poor people in the State of Karnataka irrespective of caste, creed and religious differences. He also mentioned that BCF is involved in taking care of the downtrodden society of Karnataka state in the field of education by providing scholarship to the students.
Dr Kaup stated that BCF has provided scholarship to more than 13,000 poor needy students of Karnataka state without considering their caste.
On behalf of other community organisations, Sarvotham Shetty addressed the gathering and appreciated the initiative of BCF for supporting and encouraging the educational needs of the needy students of Karnataka.
