Bellevision Bahrain Celebrates 14th Annual Day

Bahrain: Bellevision Bahrain celebrated its 14th Annual Day on the evening of 28th November at the Bahrain Carlton Hotel, marking a significant occasion for reflection on the year’s activities, celebrating achievements, and expressing gratitude to both well-wishers and members for their unwavering support.

The evening commenced at 9:00 PM, with the Master of Ceremonies, Ms. Adline D’Silva, a vibrant member of the organization, extending a warm welcome. Following her introduction, attendees were treated to a heartfelt Konkani Prayer Song performed by the members. The program featured engaging activities, including novelty dance performances and a lively game of dumb charades among couples.

A short stage program unfolded with the current President, Rony Norbert Pinto, delivering a welcoming address filled with appreciation for the support received throughout the year. As part of the celebrations, Executive Committee members commemorated the occasion by cutting a celebratory cake prepared by Mr. Naveen Mendonca, which was shared among the attendees alongside delicious slices of home-baked cake. The Annual Report was presented by General Secretary, Ms. Sharmila Sequeira, who detailed the organization’s achievements over the year. In recognition of their invaluable support, mementos were awarded to well-wishers, and Vice President, Mr. Vijay Noronha, delivered a vote of thanks to the members and children who contributed to the event’s success. Master Allan D’Souza recited the grace before meals.

Special appreciation was extended to key members for their dedicated service: Mr. Valentino Mathias for his role as DJ for all events, Mr. Ronald Fernandes for his photography, Mr. Naveen Mendonca for providing cakes, and Mr. Vincent Martis for his selfless contributions. Also honored was Ex-President Mr. Kishore D’Souza, who received a memento for his generous support of the Annual Day celebrations.

Ms. Adline D’Silva, with her engaging personality, captivated the audience, encouraging participation and ensuring a joyous atmosphere. The entertainment featured performances by children, including dance routines choreographed by Preetham Acharya and a musical performance by Master Alec D’Silva on the piano. A beautifully choreographed dance by Ms. Eden was executed by members Joyce, Eden, Shanti, Princy, Nikitha, Preetham, and Valentino. Additionally, soulful Konkani songs were performed by Riva, Ronald, Preetham, Nikitha, Eden, Joyce, and Shanti.

Throughout the evening, raffle draws provided opportunities to win ten prizes, while games for both children and adults added to the festive spirit. Adline D’Silva’s signature dance moves brought additional energy to the gathering.

The registration desk was managed by Ms. Preethi Pinto, with musical entertainment provided by Valentino Mathias and event photography handled by Ronald Fernandes and Wilroy D’Souza. The bar was overseen by Vincent Martis. Guests left with boxes of cupcakes, graciously donated by well-wisher Mr. Xavier Mathias, and enjoyed a delicious dinner catered by Mysore Bhavan Restaurant, led by Mr. Denis D’Sa.
