Belthangady: Deacon Stany Pinto was ordained as Priest by Bishop Aloysius D’Souza at St Francis Xavier Church, Indubettu. With this ordination the Diocese of Mangaluru got 10 new priests for this year.
The New Priest Fr Stany Pinto hails from Indubettu parish which is one of the smallest parish in the diocese of Mangaluru and has given many vocations to the religious life. So it was fitting that the ordination ceremony being held here as to foster vocations to the religious life.
After the ordination ceremony a small felicitation ceremony was held in the Church ground. Nearly 50 priests joined the celebration. Many religious sisters and lay people were also present on the occasion.
