Beltangady: Two people died and another was injured in a bike collision at Maddadka in Guruvayanakere here on February 23.
The deceased have been identified as Joel Stephen (18), a resident of Ujire and Manohar (40).
According to police on February 23, at around 11:30 pm, Joel was on his way home after dropping his friend to his house, a bike came in opposite direction and collided into his bike. Both were thrown to the ground. Manohar died on the spot due to severe head injuries. Joel was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to injuries on February 24 morning.
Beltangady police have registered a case.
