Bengal Congress chief Somen Mitra hospitalised
Kolkata: Veteran Congress leader and West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee President Somen Mitra was hospitalised with increased creatinine level, fever and respiratory troubles here on Tuesday.
According to sources, Mitra was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of a private hospital in south Kolkata. Though his health condition deteriorated on Monday night, he is stable now, family sources said.
Sources also said that Mitra’s Covid-19 test results have returned negative and his chamber has also been sanitised.
