Bengaluru: Apadanda T Raghu, a film-maker from Kodagu holding credit of having made movies in Kannada, Kodava, Malayalam and Hindi, is all set to release his telefilm ‘Nanga Kodava’ (We are Kodavas). He has produced and directed the serial.
The cast, among others, inlcudes Bajan Bopanna Ballachanda, Lucia, Neravanda Umesh, Teju Ponnapa Apanderanda, Kalimada Dinesh Nachappa, Nelachanda Rishi, Kottukathira Prakash, Telapanda Pavan, Ponnachettira Ramesh, Padeyanda Pallavai, Nelachanda Rekha and Boppanda Bollamma.
Raghu makes it a point to nurture and promote many local talents. The cast and crew had a hectic schedule indoors and in outdoor locales in Kodagu, Bengaluru and Mysuru.
A highlight of the project is Lucia, a foreign national who has acted in it.

Apadanda T Raghu is an actor and director, has worked in the Kannada, Hindi, Kodava and Malayalam film industries. After his foray in Bollywood with ‘Meri Adalat’ in 1984, the following year he made ‘Kattu Rani’ in Malayalam.
