Bengaluru, Mar 24 ,(PTI): A day after announcing a CBI probe into the mysterious death of an upright IAS officer, Karnataka government today issued an order entrusting the case to the central agency with a mandate to complete the probe in three months.

“The concerned Department/officers/officials/others shall handover data/ information/ records as and when required by Central Bureau of Investigation and co-operate in the investigation,” it said.

The CBI shall investigate the matter within three months and take necessary action, it added.
