Bengaluru: The much awaited FKCA -Federation of Konkani Catholic Associations’ Annual Day celebration which is being held on 1st February 2015 will have a glamour added to it, with the acclaimed and young Konkani star Kevin Misquith will be presenting a“Konkani Saanj’ for the Konkani fans in and around ‘Namma Bengaluru’. The decision to host ‘The Milestone Band’ was taken keeping in mind the huge demand for a Musical Gala, from Konkani Fans and members of FKCA.
The event will be sponsored by NRI Ronald Colaco and Family.
Federation of Konkani Catholic Association is excited to have Siddaramaiah, Chief Minister,. Karnataka as the Chief Guest of the Day and Archbishop Dr Bernard Moras presiding over the function. The event also will see the presence of renowned politicians such as V SRINIVAS PRASAD, Revenue Minister – Govt. of Karnataka; K J GEORGE, Home Minister – Govt. of Karnataka; J R LOBO – Member of Legislative Assembly – Govt. of Karnataka and IVAN D’SOUZA, Member of Legislative Council – Govt. of Karnataka.
The Apex Body representing 30 Konkani Catholic Associations in Karnataka and different parts of the country and the world, is honouring three achievers- Edwin Joseph Francis D’Souza, Jacob Crasta and Austin Roach for their yeomen contributions to the Konkani community.
FKCA has extended a warm welcome to everyone for the event and has urged huge turn-up of the Konkani Catholic Christians in order to boost the Native Spirit.
