Bengaluru (Agencies): Amidst protests and demands for CBI probe into the IAS officer DK Ravi’s death case, the CID team appointed by the Karnataka government visited the deceased’s native village, Doddakoppalu, in Tumakuru today.
However, Ravi’s parents refused to give their statement to the CID officials and insisted that they would give the statement only to CBI.
The CID officers have recorded DK Ravi’s brother Ramesh and sister Bharati’s statement.
The investigation is being carried out by the CID under the supervision of SP Kumaraswamy.
Meanwhile, the state government has turned down the demand for CBI probe into the case.
