Bengaluru: President Pranab Mukherjee has issued an order on Monday transferring Karnataka chief justice Dhirendra Hiralal Waghela to the Odisha high court.
He had been posted to the state from Gujarat in March 2013. He is due to retire in August 2016. He is expected to take over the reins at Odisha high court in a time-frame of two months.
At present Justice Pradeep Kumar Mohanty has been looking after the charge of that court, since chief justice Amitav Roy was transferred on promotion to the supreme court in March this year.
