Los Angeles, May 25 (IANS) Singer Beyonce Knowles was forced to delay her show at the TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota for 45 minutes because of the severe weather.
The audience attending her show were told to leave their seats inside the open-air venue before the singer started her set, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Knowles was scheduled to take the stage at 08:30 p.., but law enforcement and the staff decided to evacuate the stadium at 08:15 P.M because of the approaching lightning. Concertgoers were asked to move to either the TCF Bank Stadium concourse or to Mariucci and Williams Arena.
Fortunately, the concert didn’t get canceled. After a 45-minute delay, fans were told to return to their seats “in a calm and orderly fashion.”
“I am so honoured to be here tonight. Thanks for riding with me through the storm,” Knowles told the crowd once she appeared onstage.
This isn’t the first time Knowles has postponed a show on her ongoing “Formation” tour due to storm. Earlier this month, she halted her show in Raleigh, North Carolina for similar reason.
Eminem sells bricks of his childhood home
Los Angeles, May 25 (IANS) Rapper Eminem is selling pieces of bricks and wood of his childhood home as he celebrates the 16th anniversary of his hit album “The Marshall Mathers LP”.
Pieces of bricks and wood from Eminem’s now-demolished Detroit house are being offered on his official website along with packages including a cassette re-release of the 2000 album with a 3-D motion-printed cover, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Each of the bricks, 700 pieces in total, comes with a special case with a commemorative plaque on the side. The wood, meanwhile, has been turned into dog tags placed in boxes modelled after the house at 19964 Dresden St.
The bricks and wood were recovered when the building was demolished in 2013 after being found structurally unsound. A portion of money made from the sales will go to the Marshall Mathers Foundation, which provides funds for organisations working with at-risk youth.

Los Angeles, May 25 (IANS) Singer Ariana Grande has surprised her fans with the official music video for her new single “Into You”. In the video, she is mostly seen getting hot and heavy with her man.
The video, which has been directed by Hannah Lux Davis, was released online on Monday night, reports aceshowbiz.com.
In the video, the pair are seen riding a motorbike across the desert and stopping at an inn where they spend the night dancing, making out a lot and cuddling up on the bed.
Midway through the clip, it’s revealed that the man is actually her bodyguard.
