Bhaskar Shetty case: Rajeshwari bail hearing on Dec 6
Udupi: The District and Session Court has posted the hearing for bail application moved by Rajeshwari for the submission of objections from the plaintiff to December 6.
The counsel for the applicant has asked for time to submit objections for arguments from the prosecution. The magistrate from Kundapur is the concurrent judge as the post has fallen vacant after the transfer of Shivshankar Amarannanvar. The judicial custody of accused one Rajeshwari, accused two Navneeth and accused three Niranjan is extended to December 14.
Bhaskar Shetty’s mother Gulabi Shetty has submitted an application against Rajeshwari for voluntarily executing the power of attorney in favour of Sumathi Shetty (Rajeshwari’s mother) to file the suit demanding the possession of the business establishments. Giving away the power of attorney in the absence of the magistrate is illegal as the accused is under the custody of judiciary. The hearing is posted for December 14.
