Bhaskar Shetty Murder: Niranjan’s Police custody extended till Sept 21
Udupi: The chief Judicial Magistrate has extended the police custody of Astrologer Niranjan Bhat, prime accused in the murder of Hotelier Bhaskar Shetty till September 21.
The Judicial Custody of Niranjan Bhat ended on September 19 evening.
The CID police officials produced Niranjan Bhat before the Chief Judicial Magistrate on September 19 evening at 4:45 pm.
The assistant public prosecutor sought custody of Niranjan Bhat for five more days to conduct a joint inquiry of Navaneeth and Niranjan Bhat by the CID police.
The Additional chief Judicial Magistrate has permitted the CID police to have Niranjan Bhat into their custody until September 21 evening 5 pm.
