Bhatkal Woman missing since One Month, Family seeks help to Trace her

Udupi: Children and family members made a tearful appeal to the public here on Thursday July 27 seeking help to trace their mother Bibi Zuleka Ahamed Byari a resident of Bhatkal Uttar Kannada District.

Addressing the mediapersons Zuleka’s son Abdul Razak said that Bibi Zuleka Ahamed Byari aged about 60 years and mother of two children was residing in Bhakal. She was Deaf and Mute and her husband was expired many years back. Her Son Razak is working Qatar and daughter is married and living with her husband. Bibi Zuleka Ahamed Byari was living alone in her house.

According to the locals On June 23, 2017 Bibi Zuleka had boarded the Bhatkal – Mangaluru Express bus and did not return back to her house ever since. We have lodged a complaint in the Bhatkal Town Police Station one month ago and still there is no any information about her whereabouts. Desperate the efforts by her family and the police to trace her, noone knows where she has gone or what may have happened to her. All efforts to find her have gone in vain.

Bibi Zuleka’s son Razak who is working abroad has come back to his hometown and has stepped up the search for his mother. Search operations from Bhatkal to Mangalore surroundings areas too have bore no results. The police have pasted posters carrying Zuleka ‘s photo in various public places, in the hope that someone may spot her. We have searched for her everywhere and put up her posters in various places. If anyone has any information about her whereabouts please inform the police or our family members, he appealed.

60-year-old Bibi Zuleka Ahamed Byari is 5.2 ft tall, fair complexion, round face and medium build. She was last seen wearing a black colour Burqa.
