BJP Activists barge into venue, arrested
Mangaluru: Activists of the BJP tried to barge into the venue to stop the Tipu Jayanti celebrations at the ZP here on November 10.
The BJP members led by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel staged a protest in front of the Zilla Panchayat entrance.
Nalin Kumar Kateel said, “We will not allow the celebrations to go on. We will not allow the District minister in-charge Ramanath to attend the programme.
Later the members attempted to enter the venue, where the police arrested them. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Capt. Ganesh Karnik, Roopa D Bangera, Sulochana G K, Kasturi Panja, Randeep Kanchan, Harish Poonja, Dr Bharat, Sanjay and other BJP leaders were arrested by the police.
The entire arrest was recorded through the CCTV cameras drones and Video cameras.
