BJP Candidates Vedavyas Kamath and Dr Bharath Shetty File Nominations at MCC
Mangaluru: BJP candidates from Mangaluru South and North constituencies Vedavyas Kamath filed their nomination papers at the Mangaluru City Corporation Building here on April 23.
Prior to filing the nomination papers, Vedavyas visited various religious places and sought blessings. Vedavyas Kamath along with his wife and party workers visited Shri Gokarnanath Temple in Kudroli and offered prayers to the God and Goddesses.
Vedavyas Kamath Later along with his supporters came in a procession from Kudroli temple via Ballalbagh to MCC where he filed his nomination papers to the Returning officer.
Speaking to the mediapersons Vedavyas Kamath said, “When I visited houses during the campaign, I have noticed that people liked Modi’s governance and I am sure this time BJP will win with a huge margin in Karnataka.”
Dr Bharath Shetty reached the Mangaluru City Corporation in a procession from Kavoor to file his nomination papers. After filing the nomination papers Dr Bharath Shetty said, “I would like to thank the party leaders for giving me a chance to contest the elections. I will strive hard to win the elections from Mangaluru North Constituency.”
