BJP demands resignation of Vinay Kulkarni and K J George
Mangaluru: The BJP workers staged a state-wide protest against the two Congress ministers to be dropped from the state cabinet, in front of DC office here on November 28.
Addressing the protesters District BJP President Sanjeev Matandoor said, “From Dakshina Kannada to Dharwad many BJP leaders and workers have been murdered and the cabinet ministers from the state government are directly involved with the murders. In the state government, minister Vinay Kulkarni is involved in the murder of BJP member of Dharwad. He should resign immediately. Another minister K J George is responsible for the suicide of DySP Ganapati”.
Sanjeev Matandoor alleged the role of Vinay Kulkarni in the BJP activist and Dharwad ZP member Yogesh Gowda’s murder case and said, “In Yogesh Gowda’s murder case we need a CBI probe and Vinay Kulkarni should be interrogated. Both Vinay Kulkarni and K J George should resign. If they will not resign from their post, the CM should drop them from the cabinet. Let the CM hand over Yogesh Gowda’s murder case to the CBI, if the court proves that Vinay Kulkarni is innocent we have no objection to taking back Vinay Kulkarni to the cabinet”.
Former MLA Yogish Bhat, Balakrishna Bhat, Sudharshan, Umanath Kotian and others were also present.
