BJP Disrespecting Constitution and Murdering Democracy –Vinay Kumar Sorake
Udupi: The Udupi district Congress held a protest against the BJP’s resort politics in front of the War Memorial Ajjarkad, Udupi here on January 17.
The protesters shouted slogans against the BJP and their leaders for its resort politics.
Addressing the protesters former Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake said, “It was a black day in Karnataka’s politics. After Narendra Modi came to power the constitution and the people’s Mandate has been continuously disrespected. When the Congress got the majority in Goa, Jharkhand and Haryana the BJP played cheap politics. Operation Kamala is a disease introduced in a democracy by the BJP, especially B S Yeddyurappa, to come to power through unholy means. Those who do not believe in democracy will indulge in such shameful acts”.
Sorake further alleged and said, “The BJP is trying to destabilise its three-month-old alliance government in Karnataka by attempting to poach on its MLA’s. BJP is using the money they have looted to try and come to power through Operation Kamala and horse trading. The BJP is disrespecting the Constitution and murdering democracy in the country. It would be a big slap on the face of BJP as it is going to fail in its endeavour to bring the government down. Their shameless motive to destabilise the government is going to be a big failure. It will be a national shame for them,” he said.
