BJP Expert in setting Fire, Congress only in Dousing it – KPYC president Basanagouda Badarli
Udupi: “Yuva Drishti-2018”, a day-long Mangalore Zonal level leadership development Workshop organised by the Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress committee began at the Shesha Shayana Hall, Kidiyoor Hotel Udupi on Wednesday, January 31.
The Mangalore Zonal level leadership development Workshop was attended by the youth congress leaders of Udupi, Chikkamagaluru, Dakshina Kannada, Uttarkannada, Shivamogga and Hassan Districts.
Basanagouda Badarli the state youth Congress president along with Janardhan Tonse Udupi district Congress president inaugurated the “Yuva Drishti-2018”, a day-long Mangalore Zonal level leadership development Workshop by lighting the lamp.
In his message, Janardhan Tonse said that Leadership and responsibility are two sides of the same coin. There are many challenges that need to be faced before one can become a true leader. He praised Rahul Gandhi’s initiative to train the youth in leadership for the betterment of the Congress. In the coming elections, we need to work in unison for the party. Youths should push for quality leadership in the state. Your road to leadership is at its starting point. One should not hurry but work with the party to bring about positive changes in the society. We should follow the Congress ideology, which says one needs to go to the grassroots level, he said.
Basanagouda Badarli state youth Congress president said that the BJP is spreading hate and fear in the country, it was the Congress which was dousing the fire lit by the BJP. Violence, dividing the people in name of religion is the policy of BJP, and Congress is trying to bring unity between the people. Setting fire is BJP’s job, our job is to douse the fire set by them. It is impossible for BJP to set fire in Karnataka and even in case they do, we will not let it burn.
BJP state youth president MP Prathap Simha had organised the Mangaluru Chalo against communal violence. The people have elected 17 Members of Parliament from the BJP for the betterment of the state but they are busy in creating communal clashes in the state. Pratap Simha should orgnaise Delhi Chalo against Narendra Modi who had promised 2 crore jobs for the youth and the Youth Congress will support him, he added.
