Addressing the gathering, Nalin Kumar said that during the assembly elections three years ago, the BJP lost in 7 constituencies out of 8. “Most of the people thought that the BJP will not win in any future elections but after Pratap Simha Nayak took over the charge as president of the district BJP, he worked hard to strengthen the party in the district and as a result, we have won the elections at the ZP and Taluk level.”

Nalin also said that the Matandoor had also worked hard during the elections, visiting every gram panchayat. “This time, he will surely strengthen his team and work for the success of the party. In the coming elections, the BJP will win in all 8 constituencies in the district and in another 5 years, we will make India a Congress-free country. After Modi came to power, the entire world is looking towards India and the citizens, who are working in other countries, are respected and they proudly say that it is due to Modi that they are being respected in other countries,” added Nalin.

He further said, “Today, Pratap Simha is handing over power to the newly elected president Sanjeev Matandoor. Power is not permanent; it will come and go. When Pratap was the president, he did not misuse his power. Instead, while he took over from the past president, he took over all the burden on his shoulders and worked for the welfare of the party. Likewise, the present president should work with unity for the success of the party.”

Recalling the development of the district, Nalin said that the central government had sanctioned Rs 10,000 crore to the district in 2 years. “In the state, the government is dead. The Siddaramaiah government has been admitted to the hospital; it may be shifted to the ICU anytime and soon it will go into a coma. For Congress, the BJP is not the opposition. Rather, their own party leaders are their opposition and there are many internal fights within the party.” He urged all the party members to join hands with the president and work with unity to win the coming election in all the 8 constituencies of the district.

Captain Ganesh Karnik speaking on the occasion said that BJP is the only party which organises programmes with unity. The previous elections have proved that people want change; they voted for the BJP and made Narendra Modi the Prime Minister. Many things that did not happen in the last 6 decades have happened in only two years. Narendra Modi is a leader with commitment and he always says that he is the servant of the people of this country.

Modi’s dreams of a digital India, where high-speed Digital Highways will connect the entire nation and will be used for transparent governance. “If we want Modi’s dream to be realised, we have to join hands and strengthen the party and win all the 8 constituencies in the coming assembly elections. Hope the newly elected president Sanjeev Matandoor will unite all the party workers and work for the success of the party.”
