BJP Leaders Call for Jail Baro, Arrested
Mangaluru: The BJP leaders called for a state-wide Jail Bharo against the Congress government. BJP leaders and party workers staged a protest in front of the Congress office here on January 12.
BJP leader Monappa Bhandary addressing the protesters said that the Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddarmaiah has given a statement that the BJP and RSS workers are terrorists. We condemn such statements by the CM. The state leaders had called for a jail bharo protest and we are here protesting in front of the Congress office. The BJP is ruling in 19 states and the RSS has more than 100 organizations. But the CM has a tongue like the dual SIM card phone speaking however he wants. Even Ramalinga Reddy and Dinesh Gundurao are like the dual SIM mobiles with two tongues.”
Monappa Bhandary further said, “If the entire world today is looking towards India then it is because of Narendra Modi. Without understanding any issues, the CM has accepted his defeat and is directing the police to arrest the innocents. Why is the State government not banning Cow slaughter? Venugopal says that we will not ban PFI. Is Venugopal an agent of the PFI? Why are the PFI and KFD not banned, don’t they see the PFI kidnapping girls and converting them. We are not protesting against the police, we are protesting against the Siddaramaiah government.”
Later all the BJP leaders and workers arrested by the police.
All the protesters were arrested by the police.
