BJP Should learn from CM Siddaramaiah on Good Governance – U T Khader

Mangaluru: “MP Shobha Karandlaje is not getting anything to talk against CM Siddaramaiah and now she has made a new allegation that CM should apologize for not including Dr B R Ambedkar’s photograph on the banner in the government advertisement for the Constitution day. Shobha is demanding the CM to tender a public apology and is creating confusions in the minds of the people. Mahatma Gandhi’s dream was to follow the constitution written by Dr B R Ambedkar, those who rule the country, the CMs and PM. The BJP leaders should learn from CM Siddaramaiah on good governance. From the past four-and-half years, the Congress government led by CM Siddaramaiah is inspired by Dr B R Ambedkar and is following the constitution. We need to see the development work carried out and not the photographs on the advertisement”, said the minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader in a press meet held at the Circuit House here on November 27.

Addressing the mediapersons U T Khader said, “In Belgaum, during the Session, the opposition had decided not to allow the sessions to go on smoothly. They raised their voice against the Congress minister K J George and demanded his resignation. There are cases against many of the ministers and also against the UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.”

U T Khader further said, “The GST is the best policy which is now badly implemented. The NDA government is experimenting GST on the people, now they are aware that the present GST is too high and people are facing problems. If we even go to the hotel and have food, we need to pay GST. Now they have realized that the people are facing problems and have reduced the GST. From the food department, we have already directed the metrology department to reduce the price for all the food items. If the rate will not be reduced we will file cases against the shop owners”.

U T Khader also said, “Out of the 15.5 lakh BPL Ration card applications, we have already 8.5 lakh cards being dispatched of which 24,000 are APL cards. We are printing the cards every day and dispatching them to the respective cardholders.”

Santhosh Kumar Asaigoli, Eshwar Ullal, Sadashiv Ullal, Mohammed Mustafa, Shamshuddin Sullia, Mustafa Sullia, Melwyn D’Souza, Zabbar, Pius Monteiro and others were also present.
