BJP Party workers offer prayers in Temples seeking ticket for Raghupathi Bhat
Udupi: Special prayers were offered in various temples on April 17, by supporters of former MLA Raghupathi Bhat in order to get a ticket from the BJP for the Udupi Constituency.
The Bharatiya Janata Party has already released two lists of candidates for the forthcoming Karnataka Assembly elections. But in both the lists, the names of candidates for Udupi and Kaup constituencies were not announced.
Supporters of Raghupathi Bhat are disappointed and disturbed by the delay in announcing the name of the candidate for Udupi Constituency and have offered special prayers in Sri Krishna, Anantheshwara and Chandramouleswara Temples.
Raghupathi Bhat’s Mother Saraswathi, wife Shilpa and hundreds of party workers participated in the prayers.
Udupi ZP president Dinakar Babu, party leaders Shreesha Nayak, Akshith Shetty Herga, Rashimitha Balakrishna, Upendra Nayak, Prabhakar Poojary and others were present.
