BJP trying to create communal divide in coastal districts – Minister Dr Jayamala

Byndoor: “The chief minister H D Kumaraswamy-led coalition government has given pro-people schemes for the people of Karnataka. BJP does not have any issue to criticize our coalition government as we are giving clean, transparent governance with various welfare programmes for the poor”, said District Minister In-charge Dr Jayamala.

She was speaking during the By election campaign joint meeting of the party workers of the Congress and JD(S) at the Rotary Bhavan Byndoor here on Sunday, October 21.

After Chief Minister Kumaraswamy waived the farm loans, the BJP lost the only issue they had. They are now trying to polarise people by spreading communal hatred in the Costal districts. The Congress and JD(S) party workers should be cautious about it,” she said.

Shivamogga – Byndoor Lok Sabha Constituency By-election Congress – JD(S) coalition candidate Madhu Bangarappa speaking on the occasion said that former MLA Gopal Poojary has done various development works in the Byndoor region. Poojary, who has worked honestly for the development of his constituency, has the credit of getting the highest amount of grant for this constituency.

My Father S Bangarappa also worked for the poor people. S Bangarappa was in politics with the sole purpose of uplifting the poor and the downtrodden and he never used it for personal gain. Bangarappa was a guide and philosopher for several political leaders, he said.
