BJP Winning 150 seats will remain a Dream – KPCC Spokesperson Sudarshan
Mangaluru: “The opposition, especially former Chief minister Yeddyurappa has no moral right to say that the state government led by Siddaramaiah is the most corrupt government. When BJP was in power in the state and Yeddyurappa was the Chief minister he had gone to Jail because of his involvement in corruption. In BJP’s five-year tenure, we have seen three chief ministers. Yeddyurappa himself was involved in corruption and the case is still in the court. He has no moral right to talk about corruption”, said the state spokesperson of Congress V R Sudarshan in a press meet held at the District Congress office, Mallikatta here on May 7.
Addressing the mediapersons V R Sudarshan said, “The people of Karnataka know very well how corrupt Yeddyurappa is, the BJP cannot fool the people of Karnataka by misguiding them by issuing misleading statements about the Congress government. The BJP has no moral right to say that the State government is corrupt. It is like the devil preaching the Bhagavadgita”.
He further said, “People of the state are fed up of the BJP that ruled the state under three CM’s. BJP dream of winning 150 seats in the 2018 elections will remain only a dream. People of Karnataka will not elect the BJP in the next elections. I hope in the 2018 elections the congress party will win and come to power in the state. The Nanjangud and Gundlupet elections have increased our confidence to win the elections in 2018.”
Senior Congress leader Ibrahim Kodijal, Mayor Kavitha Sanil, Padmanabh Naringana, A C Vinayraj and others were also present.
