BJP YM bound to hold Mangaluru Chalo on Sept 7, Govt should provide Security – MP Nalin

Mangaluru: “After the Congress government led by Siddaramaiah came to power there are attempts to divide the Hindu Society. In the name of Ahinda CM Siddaramaiah has created differences within the Hindu Society. On September 7, the BJP Yuva Morcha will be holding a bike rally but the police department has not yet give the permission. At any cost, the Mangaluru Chalo bike rally will be held and it is the duty of the government to provide safety”, said MP Nalin Kumar Kateel in a press meet held at the BJP office here on September 3.

Addressing the mediapersons MP Nalin said, “Many Hindu activists have been killed and the government has failed to arrest the culprits. We are holding the bike rally to demand the government to ban PFI and SDPI organizations because they are connected to the SIMI organization. CM Siddaramaiah is acting like Hitler. Siddaramaiah has used the police department and sent notices to the halls not to provide shelter to the protesters who are participating in the rally.”

MP Nalin further said, “To hold the Mangaluru Chalo Bike Rally we had applied for permission. We had even provided all the necessary documents to the police department but so far did not get the permission. The State government has threatened the hall owners through the police not to provide any accommodation to those participating in the bike rally. But the BJP workers have taken this as a challenge and come forward to accommodate the rally participants in their houses. More than 10,000 bike riders will gather at the Nehru Maidan to demand the government to ban PFI and SDPI”.

MP Nalin also said, “Some years ago Indira Gandhi has declared the emergency and now Siddaramaiah is trying to declare emergency through the back door by not allowing the police to give permission to hold Mangaluru Chalo Bike rally. BJP Yuva Morcha is bound to hold the Rally on September 7. In case of any untoward incidents taking place during the rally, the government will be held fully responsible. We have the right to protest and it is the duty of the government to provide security. When BJP government was in power Siddaramaiah had held a Padayatra and our government had provided him security. Let Siddaramaiah understand it and provide security for our rally”.

District BJP President Sanjeev Matandoor, Capt Ganesh Karnik, Capt Brijesh Chowta, Monappa Bhandary, Krishna J Palemar, Vedavyas Kamath, Harish Punja and others were also present.
