BJP’s Hindutva Fake, Sri Rama Sena to Tie-up with Shiv Sena in forthcoming Elections – Muthalik
Udupi: “The state government is misleading the people by arresting innocent people in the Gouri Lankesh murder case”, said Pramod Muthalik founder of Sri Rama Sene here on February 25.
Speaking to the mediapersons Muthalik said, “The state government has failed to find the murderers of Gauri Lankesh. The Congress-led State government is responsible for the killing of litterateur M M Kalburgi. Until now they have failed to arrest Kalburgi’s murderers. The state government is targeting Hindutva organisations including Sri Ram Sena. Now the police have arrested a person who is an active member of the Sri Rama Sene who is not involved in the Gouri Lankesh murder.”
Terming the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Hindutva as ‘fake’, Muthalik said, “When BJP was in Power in the state, 7 cases were registered against me, they even failed to implement the anti-cow slaughter bill. The Congress appeasing Muslims has led to terrorism in the country. When the UPA government lost power, the Congress leaders started to visit Temples. Both the national parties have failed to uplift Hindus in the country”.
Muthalik further said, “In the coming elections we will join hands with Shiv Sena and field our candidates. We have formed a 9 member committee which has decided to contest from 52 constituencies. For vote bank, the BJP is using the Hindutva card which will split the votes. I will contest from Sringeri or the Theredalu Constituency”.
Earlier Pramod Muthalik visited the Sri Krishna Temple and met Sri Vidyadeesha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Palimar Math.
