Body of 17-year-old Kho Kho Player found in Well
Beltangady: Body of an 18-year-old girl was found in a well at Kokradi, here on October 8
The deceased has been identified as Sushmita (18), a resident of Kokradi, she was the daughter of Mohan and Prema. She was a Kho Kho player and was studying in IInd PUC in the Government college, Kokradi.
According to sources, on October 7, Sushmita went to bed after having her dinner. On October 8, in the morning when everyone woke up, Sushmita was missing. They searched for her and finally, to their shock found Sushmita’s body was floating in their compound well.
A case has been registered and the investigation is on. It is suspected that Sushmita must have committed suicide.
