Body of 25-year-old Missing woman found in Chakra River
Kundapur: The body of a 25-year-old woman who had gone missing in Vandse here on Monday February 27 morning was found in the Chakra River in Vandse under the Kollur Police Station limits.
The deceased has been identified as Supreetha (25) wife of Ravi Poojary resident of Vandse Kundapur Taluk.
According to the police, Supreetha got married to Ravi Poojary Seven years ago and is blessed with a Child. Supreetha went missing on February 27 morning, family members started to search for her everywhere. On February 27 afternoon her body was found in the Chakra River in Vandse.
The police suspect that Surpeetha had jumped from the Vandse bridge into the river. The exact cause of her death will be ascertained only after the post-mortem.
A case has been registered in Kollur police station.
