Body of 26-Year-Old Missing Youth Missing who Parked Bike at Netravathi Bridge Found
Mangaluru: The body of the 26-year-old youth parking his motorbike near the Netravati Bridge on August 16 was found at the NMPT port on August 25.
The youth has been identified as Sadashiva (26) from Nooji Baltila in Kadaba.
According to sources, Sadashiv was working in the railway station. On August 16, at around 9:30 pm after finishing his work had gone on his motorbike to his rented house. But Sadashiv did not reach home nor did he go to his home town. Instead, he went to the Netravati Bridge, parked motorbike there and jumped into the river.
In this connection, a missing person’s case was registered in the Kankanady Town Police station.
On August 25, the coast guard on patrol duty found his body floating 12 km away from the NMPT port. They immediately informed the Panambur police.
The Panambur police while checking the body found the raincoat and tattoo on his hands which confirmed that the body was that of Sadashiv. The body has been sent to the Wenlock hospital for post-mortem.
The Kankanady Town police have registered a case and are investigating.
