 Mangaluru: Harish Shetty, the owner of the newly opened ‘Shetty Lunch Home’ located at Adyar Katte, near to Sahyadri College on Mangaluru-Bengaluru NH 73 had a surprise guest who had come to dine at his restaurant- and the guest was none other than Bollywood Actor and origin of Kudla/Mangaluru Suniel Shetty, who along with his family and close friend Sudhir Shetty, the Chairman of Charishma Builders Mumbai, who were heading towards Madikeri had stopped for lunch at Shetty lunch home-Adyar.

Suniel Shetty who never misses to savour Kudla cuisine every time he visits his hometown, and this time he made the right choice to dine at the right place “Shetty Lunch Home” to try some authentic cuisine of Mangaluru. Suniel Shetty and his family/friend feasted on- Anjal Tawa Fry, Pomfret Masala Fry; Prawn Ghee Roast; Bangude Rawa Fry; Neerdosa with coconut and jaggery; Silver Fish Pulimunchi, along with Boiled rice. Wow, a perfect selection of Kudla cuisine picked from the Smart Menu of Shetty Lunch Home.

Suniel Shetty and his family who arrived at the Restaurant at 12.30 pm spent some leisure time at the Restaurant for nearly 2 hours, interacting with the restaurant owner Harish Shetty- and this is what Suniel Shetty had to say after dining at Shetty Lunch Home-Adyar-” I love Mangalorean food very dearly, and I can say that today’s seafood delicacies that I tried at Shetty Lunch Home were the BEST that I had so far in my life. Simply authentic, and truly delicious, which brought back memories of my younger days in Kudla. I will surely stop by again at Shetty Lunch Home, either in the City (Balmatta Road) or at Adyar”

Shetty Lunch Home-Adyar serves a host of traditional coastal cuisine with all its authentic flavours intact, while also innovating with a whole lot of seafood specialties.
