Wimbledon, July 9 (IANS) India’s Rohan Bopanna and his Romanian partner Florin Mergea lost in the men’s doubles semi-final at the Wimbledon tennis championships bowing 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, 4-6, 13-11 to fourth seeds Jean-Julien Rojer of the Netherlands and Horia Tecau of Romania here on Thursday.

Bopanna-Mergea began the keenly contested match on the right note, claiming the first set 6-4 but ultimately lost the see-saw contest in three hours and 23 minutes at Court 2 of the All England Club.
