Jagadish Shettar Flags off Jana Suraksha Yatra
Bring BJP to Power for corruption and Crime free Karnataka – Yogi Adityanath
Mangaluru: The Jana Suraksha Yatra organized by the BJP was flagged off from Dr B R Ambedkar circle, Jyothi here on March 6.
Former CM of Karnataka Jagadish Shettar and MP Shobha Karandlaje flagged off the rally. The party workers including MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Jagadish Shettar, MP Shobha Karandlaje, MP Pratap Simha and many other leaders participated in the yatra from Jyoti Circle.
The programme began with an invocation. Udupi district BJP president Mattar Ratnakar Hegde welcomed the gathering.
One minute silence was observed for the departed souls of Hindu activists.
Addressing the party workers Chief Minister of UP Yogi Adityanath said, “I would like to thank the BJP workers for organising Jana Suraksha Yatra in Mangaluru. We have witnessed BJP’s victory in the Tripura elections. Even in Meghalay and Nagaland BJP has formed the government. In Tripura Congress was very strong but in the recent polls Congress got zero seats. Likewise, in Nagaland too Congress got zero seats. If the BJP can make Congress free state in the North why not in Karnataka?”.
Yogi Adityanath further said, “Development is very much important for the state but in Karnataka we are not seeing any development. Along with development we need safety and protection so that people can live in peace. In Karnataka the government has failed to provide protection for the people especially for the Hindus who are not safe here”.
Addressing the gathering MP Pratap Simha said, “After becoming the CM, Siddaramaiah withdrew more than 175 cases against 1600 KFD and PFI members. After withdrawing the cases, many murders have taken place. When Sharat Madival was murdered we held the Mangaluru Chalo bike rally. After the rally, many Hindu activists were again killed. In the last 2.5 years, more than 23 Hindu activists were killed, that is why we had to hold the Jana Suraksha Yatra. Siddaramaiah had called Modi as Mass Murderer but this title suits Siddaramaiah well. Coastal district means we remember Rani Abbakka but now we are forced to remember DK as KFD and PFI. For us the Coastal district is an education hub, parents used to send their children to DK to pursue their education, but now they are afraid to send their children to Dakshina Kannada.”
MP Pratap further said, “Siddaramaiah is talking about Yogi, but Siddaramaiah does not have any moral rights to talk about Yogi. After the Tripura election results, Rahul went to Italy to see his grandmother. We invite Rahul Gandhi to Karnataka, after the elections in Karnataka we will send Siddaramaiah home,” he said.
Addressing the gathering Jagadish Shettar said, “After the Congress government came to power, there have been a number of murders of Hindu activists and dacoity, the law and order situation has completely collapsed. Bengaluru city has become the crime city, in the entire country Karnataka is number one in corruption, murder, rape and the suicide of farmers. The Congress party workers are involved in goondaism. One of the MLA’s son had attacked a youth in Bengaluru. B S Yeddyurappa received a good response for his Parivarthana Yatra which has scared the Congress which is now involved in goondaism. The elections are nearing, the Congress leaders are distributing Saree and watches. CM Siddaramaiah is wearing a watch worth lakhs of Rupees but distributing cheaper watches to the voters. There is no development and no projects have been implemented. After Rahul Gandhi became the National Congress president, The Congress lost in Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya. In the coming days, the BJP will also win in Karnataka.”
Former CM B S Yeddyurappa, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP Shobha Karandlaje, Sriramulu, Minister Ananth Kumar and C T Ravi also spoke on the occasion.
