Builder Commits Suicide Stabbing Himself in car
Udupi: A Builder allegedly committed suicide by stabbing himself in his own car in Manipal on Sunday, September 23 night.
The deceased has been identified as Oliver Louis (68) a resident of Laxmindra Nagar near Manipal.
According to the police, Oliver Louis who was a builder stabbed himself in his own Ford car near his relatives’ house on Sunday, late night. Before committing suicide he wrote a Death Note to his wife stating, “I am responsible for my death”. Depression is the main cause for Oliver to take the extreme step said sources. Oliver worked as cruise captain many years.
Udupi District Superintendent of Police Laxman Nimbargi, Additional SP Kumarchandra and other senior police officials visited the spot and have collected necessary information.
A case has been registered in the Manipal Police Station.
