Bunder Police Inspector Convinces Corona Positive Youth who Refused to Undergo Treatment
Mangaluru: A Corona Positive Youth tried to escape from the health officials when they came to take him to the hospital in the city on June 29.
The youth from Uttarakhand is a construction worker in the city. After the youth showed symptoms of the disease, he was taken to a private hospital in the city for a test. His throat swab was sent for test and confirmed to be positive for the coronavirus.
When the heath officials from Wenlock COVID hospital went to his place to take him to the hospital for treatment, the youth escaped from them. The health officials along with the Corporator of the area then informed the matter to the Bunder police.
Later the Bunder police traced the youth near the Clock tower. Police Inspector Govindaraju met the youth and tried to convince him. The youth said that he would not trouble anyone, but not go to the hospital for treatment. Govindaraju convinced the youth saying that most of the people who were infected by the coronavirus had recovered. Govindraju also assured to help the youth during his treatment in the hospital.
Finally, the youth agreed to go to the hospital for treatment.
