Bunt Sports and Drawing Contest at Omkar Nagar-Bunts Hostel
Mangaluru: Addressing the media persons during a press meet held at Mangalore Press Club, Dr Asha Jyothi Rai- Trustee of Sarvajanika Sri Ganeshothsava Samithi (Omkar Nagar-Bunts Hostel)-Mangaluru said, “As part of Ganeshotsava, Siddhininayaka Prathishtana and Sarajanika Sri Ganeshhothsava Samithi will be conducting “Bunt Sports” exclusively for Bunt Community on Sunday, 20 August 2017 from 9 am onwards at the Bunts Hostel ground. Various categories have been added for the young/senior men and women on that day. Attractive cash prizes and awards will be presented to the winners. Food arrangements have been made for the participants. During the occasion, athletes/sports persons will be felicitated for their achievements in State level sports and athletics”.
She further said, ” On 24 August 2017, from 4 pm -5.30 pm, a “Drawing Competition” on the subject ” Indian Festival Celebrations” will be held at Ramakrishna School-Bunts Hostel-Mangaluru for children from 1st standard up to 10th standard, under 4 different categories. Participants have to register before 22 August. Paper will be provided, but painting/drawing materials have to be brought by the participants. “
