Bus Conductor’s Presence of mind saves Passengers Lives
Shivamogga: Presence of mind of the bus conductor saved many lives when the bus driver suddenly fell sick at Mandagadde while driving the bus from Shivamogga to Mangaluru on June 26.
According to sources, the bus was plying from Shivamogga to Mangaluru. When the bus reached near Mandagadde, the driver felt dizzy and lost control. The conductor, Bhagwan Kristaraj, noticed that the bus was moving towards the stream and immediately steered it on course.
Out of fear to save themselves, many passengers jumped from the bus and were injured.
The conductor was commended for his courage and presence of mind in saving the lives of the passengers and avoiding a major tragedy.
