Bus-conductor’s ‘Sugar’ Treatment to Spite Owner!
Mangaluru: Satish Karkera (32), worked as a conductor in Salyan Travels bus plying between Karkala and Mulki.
The bus is owned by Janardan Poojary. He observed that Karkera was not paying him the daily collections regularly, in spite of warnings. Finally, he was forced to sack the conductor from service.
Angered by this, Karkera decided to wreak revenge on the owner. He chose a queer way to do so. He poured sugar into the engine while it had been parked in the Ksheersagar fuel filling station in Mulki. The bus engine failed to start as a result of it.
After coming to know that it was Karkera’s handiwork, Poojary filed a complaint in the Mulki police station, citing loss to the extent of Rs 1.5 lakh.
Karkera has been arrested and a case has been filed against him.
