Bus Rolls Over at Adyar after Tyre Burst, 16 Injured
Mangaluru: Three occupants in the car were severely injured and several other passengers in the bus injured after the tyre of the bus burst on the National Highway at Adyar – Arkula road here on August 1.
According to sources, on August 1 morning a private bus was plying from Puttur to Mangaluru. As the bus reached Adyar one of its tyre burst, the bus driver lost control and the bus hit a moving car and rolled over. The occupants of the car and the passengers on the bus were injured.
The impact was such the car and the bus have been totally damaged. The locals rushed the injured to various hospitals in the city.
