Bus – Two-wheeler Collision at Udyavar, Couple Injured
Udupi: Two people were seriously injured in a collision between a bus and a two-wheeler at Balaipade Udyavar here, on July 24.
The injured have been identified as Rajendra Prasad (65) and his wife Latha (56), from Korangrapadi.
According to sources, Rajendra Prasad along with his wife were on their way to Kinnimulky from Korangrapadi. When they reached near Balaipade, a bus plying from Kundapur to Mangaluru collided into their two-wheeler. Both Rajendra and Latha were thrown to the road and were severely injured.
The Udupi traffic police reached the spot and shifted the couple to a private hospital.
A case has been registered in the Traffic Town police station.
