‘After Losing Power Siddaramaiah has Lost His Mental Balance’ – Shobha Karandlaje
Udupi: “After losing the power of Chief Minister, former Karnataka State CM Siddaramaiah has lost his mental balance also. He has now become the opposition leader by blackmailing the Congress party” said Shobha Karandlaje Member of Parliament Udupi-Chikkamagaluru.
Addressing the media persons in Udupi on October 30, Karandlaje said, “Siddaramaiah has no control on the Congress party. The Congress Party is divided into various groups in Karnataka. Siddaramaiah’s has been giving irrelevant statements that do not benefit the common man”.
Shobha dismissed any possibility of having an electoral tie-up with any party for the December 5 by-polls in Karnataka. “The BJP will face the elections alone and win all the 15 seats. JD (S) MLA’s are not in contact with BJP and if anyone wants to join the BJP, they should first resign from their present MLA post”, she said.
She further said, “The people of Karnataka have witnessed five years of the Siddaramaiah government. The only work Siddaramaiah did during his five-year tenure was to divide people on religious lines. People experienced his crooked politics, they will never support the Congress party in the By-polls. D K Shivakumar’s release will not have any impact on the forthcoming by-polls. People of the state know that the Congress party leaders are totally corrupt. The Congress party has no future in this country. He and his strategies are irrelevant and cannot be applied anywhere in any situation”.
