Byndoor Police arrest Person involved in Illegal Liquor Sale
Kundpaur: The Byndoor police have arrested a person for selling liquor illegally in a public place at Yedthare here on Friday, November 10.
The arrested has been identified as Laxman Gowda (38) from Yelajith, Kundapur Taluk.
When the Byndoor PSI Timmesh BN raided the place near the STD Booth at Yedthare based on a tip-off, they found a person carrying liquor packets and attempting to sell them to the Public. The accused had no licence to sell the liquor.
The Police seized Rs 2110 worth 90 ML 51 and 180 ML 12 Tetra packets of Haywards Cheers Whisky from the accused. The Police also seized Rs 650 Cash.
A case has been registered in the Byndoor Police Station.
