Byndoor St Thomas School Vice Principal dies in Bus – Bike collision
Kundapur: Vice Principal of a school died and another sustained critical injuries in a bus-motorbike collision at Byndoor on Monday, January 15 late night.
The deceased has been identified as bike rider Fr. Abraham Kallapat assistant principal of St Thomas English medium School Byndoor.
According to the Byndoor PSI Fr Abraham had taken a student living in the hostel to Byndoor PHC for treatment. While he was returning to the hostel his motorcycle collided with a private bus at Byndoor new bus stand. The bus was on its way to Belagavi from Kundapur. Fr Abraham who suffered grievous injuries died on the way to the hospital. The pillion rider, student who also suffered serious injuries and is admitted to a private hospital.
A case has been registered in the Byndoor Police station.
