Car Found near Netravati Bridge, Owner Missing

Mangaluru: A Fiat car was found abandoned near the Netravati Bridge on April 15 night.

According to the records the car belongs to Vikram Gatti (34) from Kolya, Someshwar presently residing in Pulinchadi, Konaje.

On 15 April at 10:30 pm, Vikram’s car was found near the Nertravati bridge, the headlights were on and the door was open. Vikram’s mobile is also switched off.

According to the family members, Vikram was running a garage in Kolya, he was married five years ago and the couple has a four-year-old child.

From the past one and a half years, Vikram was residing with his family in Pulinchadi in a newly constructed house. On April 15, Vikram along with his wife and her parents were watching TV. At around 9:00 pm, all of a sudden Vikram left home saying that he wanted to recharge his car battery and never returned.

In this connection, a missing person’s complaint has been filed in the Konaje police station. The family members searched for Vikram everywhere but could not find him.

The Kankanady Town Police have visited the spot and investigation is on.
