Car overturns after Tyre Burst on Udyavar Bridge, 3 Injured
Udupi: Three passengers escaped with minor injuries after a speeding Honda WR-V car overturned when one of its tyres burst on Udayvar Bridge, NH 66 on Friday, October 4.
According to the Kaup Police Shaaban Saheb a resident of Siddapura, Kundapur Taluk along with his family was on his way to Udupi from Mangaluru. The car was speeding when one of its tyres burst. The driver lost control of the car which first crashed into a barricade of the bridge and then overturned. The passengers, fortunately, escaped with minor injuries, they were rushed to a nearby hospital. The car was badly damaged in the mishap.
